Let’s talk.
how we can work together
Individual Counseling
$150/45 minutes
Couples Counseling
$175/45 minutes
To be sure this is the best fit for you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation
It can be daunting to take the plunge and set up a session with a stranger, especially one you’ve only read about online. If you’d like to request a consultation with me so we can begin to get to know one another, click the schedule button above.
Any questions?
-
I see clients in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays at my office in Manhattan’s Financial District, and I offer telehealth sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
-
I am an out of network clinician. I provide superbills for insurance reimbursement if requested.
-
I work with individuals and couples over 24 years old in New York State.

Therapy is an ongoing, long-term investment you make in yourself. Showing up weekly to therapy is part of that commitment. I do understand though that life happens and you can’t make every appointment, every week. Please be aware of my cancellation policies: I limit the total number of cancellations to three per year, and ask for 48 business hours notice if you need to cancel a session. Cancellations with fewer than 48 business hours notice, no-shows, or any cancellations beyond the annual limit result in a fee.
-
I’m happy to reschedule our session as long as my schedule allows it. Please know that I cannot always accommodate reschedules, so it’s best to let me know 48+ hours in advance in case we must cancel.
-
I do not offer biweekly sessions when I begin working with a client. However, if treatment is progressing and you are interested in tapering off therapy, we can discuss reducing to a biweekly schedule, with the goal of terminating within two months.
-
All sessions – individual and couples – are 45-minutes long.
-
Of course! A consultation is an important time for us to investigate fit, for you to learn a little about me, and for me to get a better sense of what is bringing you to therapy.

Check out the About page to learn more about my approach. I tailor my work to the needs of the individual client – no two people are the same, and therefore no single therapeutic approach will be effective with everyone. Typically, though, I integrate a few key “theoretical orientations”: psychodynamic, relational, cognitive, and person-centered.
-
I do not, but I am happy to provide a referral.
-
My rates are as follows:
Self pay individual therapy: $150/session
Self-pay couples therapy: $175/session
I do not currently offer sliding scale rates; however, I am happy to refer you to practices with counseling interns or limited permit holders with lower rates.

Alma is the electronic health record (EHR) system I use — essentially a billing platform and a digital version of a client’s paper chart.
